FREENOW app now available in Glasgow
FREENOW, Europe’s multi-mobility app with taxi at its core, is announcing that its service is now available in Glasgow through a partnership with Saltire Private Hire, giving residents and visitors a safe, reliable, convenient and cost-effective way to book a ride. The FREENOW app is already available in Edinburgh as well as in 150 other cities in Europe, including major capitals such as London, Dublin, Berlin, Rome, Madrid or Athens.
Passengers can use the FREENOW app to see the upfront cost of their trip and the driver's estimated arrival time. Additionally, passengers can utilise the ‘Prebook function’, which enables them to book a ride up to four days in advance and pay via Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Debit Card, or cash.
The FREENOW app also provides an extra layer of reassurance from a safety perspective. When booking a cab, passengers receive information about their driver and vehicle and can utilise safety features such as ‘share your trip’, which allows them to share their journey with friends or family, so they know where the passenger is and when they arrive at their destination.
