No cash? No problem!
Pay with Freenow allows you to hop in a taxi at the airport, a taxi rank, or on the street and pay your fare with the card on your Freenow account.

How does it work?
When you hail a cab, make sure the driver is on Freenow before the journey starts. Let him or her know you’d like to use Pay with Freenow, and they’ll do the rest! They'll search for you on their app, and then put the payment through as normal at the end of the journey.

Don’t forget to add a tip if the driver was particularly great, and of course rate them and their vehicle too!

Why use Pay with Freenow?
Sometimes it’s faster to hop into a passing taxi than to hail one with the Freenow app, we get that. It’s tricky when you have no cash though.

Pay with Freenow is the quick and easy way to pay your fares by card.

Is there a limit?

Yes, due to fraud prevention, your fare has a maximum payment of £200. If you are on a longer journey and the fare comes to £200+, your driver will need to get in touch with Freenow Driver support or it will have to be put through as two transactions.

How do I add a card to the Freenow app?

Adding a card couldn't be easier. Tap on your Profile > Wallet > + then fill in your card details.
