COMMISSION

Standard Commission: 20% (inclusive of VAT)

Applicable to all trips (in-app and cash payments) unless one of the other commissions set out below applies.

From time to time, we may offer reduced commission promotions. These will be subject to additional terms & conditions which will be notified to you.

Black Cab Promo Commission: 24% (inclusive of VAT).

Drivers can opt out from the Black Cab Promo fleet directly in the app with the fleet selector.

3. Toggle Saver on or off

Airport Black Cab Commission: 18% (inclusive of VAT)

Applicable to trips originating at airports within London (Heathrow and London City), where passengers are charged a fixed upfront price for the trip.  

Pair With Passenger Commission: 0%

Applicable where a passenger hasn't booked their trip via the Freenow app but switches to a "Hop On" trip to pay via their Freenow account.

CANCELLATION FEES

Ad-Hoc

If the passenger cancels 2 or more minutes after you accepted the request for transportation services, you will receive a £5.25 Cancellation Fee. This cancellation fee will not apply if you have not moved towards the pick-up point.

Pre-Book

If the passenger cancels an accepted pre-booked request less than 60 minutes before the scheduled pick-up time, you will receive an £8.20 cancellation fee.

Airport Pick-Up (Heathrow & London City)

For trips from Heathrow and London City Airports, if the passenger cancels 2 or more minutes after you accepted the request for transportation services, you will receive a £13.25 cancellation fee. This fee is inclusive of parking charges at 0% commission. This cancellation fee will not apply if you have not moved towards the pick-up point.

Non-App Payments

No cancellation fees apply.

OTHER FEES

Airport Waiting Fees

For fixed fare trips originating from Heathrow and London City Airports, a £0.60 fee applies for every minute after the first 3 minutes for up to 15 minutes total waiting time, at 0% commission.

High Demand Fee

During times/areas of high demand in London, Freenow will add a fee to the fare of Black Cab Express requests. 

The amount payable to you will always be clearly indicated on the offer card. The amount is fixed at the time you accept the booking.

Airport Fees

Should any airport feature in any part of a Trip, an airport fee may be payable to you. 

Airport parking fees are set by the respective airports, and as such may change from time to time and Freenow has no influence on their value. 

Current rates as at the date of this Fee Policy are as follows (and may be subject to change based on fee changes set by the respective airport):

Damage or Cleaning Fee

If during a Trip, a passenger causes damage to, or causes any part of your vehicle to be soiled or dirtied in any way, you may report this to us. Once verified by us, we reserve the right to facilitate payment for the reasonable cost of such repair or cleaning on your behalf. 

Currently the maximum amount set by TfL for damage or cleaning is £60.
