How to become a Comfort driver
We’d love to welcome more drivers to our Comfort class! If you hit all the below criteria then you’re eligible to join.
- New car?If your car is under 8 years old and is listed in our accepted vehicle models then it qualifies for our Comfort class.
- High-rated driverGot an average rating of 4.8 or more? Then you’ll be a great fit for Comfort.
- 50+ tripsTo qualify for Comfort you need to have taken over 50 trips with FREE NOW.

To be classified as 'Comfort' you must have done at least 50 trips on the FREE NOW platform, have a rating of 4.8 or above and your car must be under eligible make/model and year.

For Comfort class, we apply a premium of 20% to the classic 'Ride' fleet pricing.

Yes. We will be adding new eligible drivers to the Comfort class on weekly basis.
I have a nice car but it doesn't meet your criteria. Can I still join Comfort?

We will be reviewing our Comfort make and model list on a regular basis. Keep an eye out for this page.

Yes. You can still accept classic Rides at the normal rate, giving you more options to work with FREE NOW
What if my rating drops below the required criteria?
What if my rating drops below the required criteria?
You will no longer be able to take Comfort trips. However, once your rating improves to >4.8 , you will automatically be added to the Comfort class again.

When you receive an offer, the offer card will show which fleet category it belongs to.

Here are our top tips to create the perfect journey for your passengers and to get you those 5 stars!
- DON’T DELAY: Go straight to the passenger's pick up after accepting the trip
- CONTACT: Call the passenger if you think you'll be late
- ARRIVAL: Only press 'Arrived' once you're at the passenger's pick up point
- PASSENGER CHECK: Never start the trip until the passenger is in your vehicle and you've confirmed their name, destination and payment method
- SMOOTH RIDE: Drive safely and within the speed limits. Avoid harsh braking or sudden movements
- PHONE CALLS: Avoid making personal phone calls during the journey
- DROP OFF: Confirm the passenger drop off and ensure they exit the vehicle safely
