We’re committed to making our cities healthier, greener places to live. That means adding more electric vehicles to our fleet and offering drivers more ways they can benefit from driving them.
Together let’s push towards a more sustainable future. Read on to see how we can help you make the switch and save big when you do.

The vehicle must have a range (WLTP)* greater than or equal to 400 km;
You will have until March 31, 2024 to register your electric taxi and update it in your FREENOW account. Furthermore, when updating your vehicle within the FREENOW App for taxi drivers, you will have to go to the office to show off your new electric vehicle, where the office is available, or you will have to send a video via email to highlight the details of the vehicle
The incentive of €3000 will be paid out over 12 months, €250 per month, in the form of monthly cashback and will be linked to the number of trips taken**
You will have to make at least 150 trips per month with FREE NOW (at least 75 trips in the month of August) starting from the first day of the month following the vehicle update within the FREE NOW App for taxi drivers
* The WLTP (Worldwide harmonized Light vehicles Test Procedure) defines fuel or energy consumption levels. From 1 September 2018 the WLTP came into force as a test for car registration in the European Union. **We will carry out checks on any incorrect behavior in using the app and the taxi drivers involved will be excluded from the promotion.
Electric motors are much more efficient. With traditional cars you need to spend an average of €7.6 per 100km, whereas with electric cars you only need €2.4 per 100km. On average, a taxi driver travels 50 thousand km per year and the average saving is €2600 per year.
FREE NOW and EDISON offer you the complete solution for charging in peace and safety, at home and wherever you are. Edison Energia allows you to reduce the cost of the energy component with a dedicated offer, so you can recharge your taxi and contain operating costs.
An electric car has no clutch, oil, filters or timing belts... so its maintenance is much cheaper. Furthermore, thanks to the regenerative braking of the electric motor, changing the brake pads will be a distant memory.
As an indication, we have calculated a saving of at least 25% compared to a hybrid vehicle, which can mean more than 1,200 euros in 5 years and 300,000 kilometres.
Considering the cost of purchase, refueling or charging, ordinary maintenance and government incentives*, the total cost of an electric vehicle is lower than its hybrid version, in the first 5 years of use.
*In case of scrapping there is an additional incentive of €2000.
