Freenow is the leading taxi app in Greece, connecting riders to licensed, professional drivers in seconds. You might remember it as BEAT or even Taxibeat—the homegrown Greek startup that redefined how we book taxis. Since joining Europe’s largest mobility platform, the app has evolved into Freenow: a smarter, sleeker way to move around your city. Today, it’s the same great service—local drivers, instant bookings, real-time tracking—just with more tech, better support, and a unified experience across Europe.

The BEAT app may have changed its name, but its mission is stronger than ever: to simplify urban travel. With Freenow, you still get trusted local drivers, but now with

  • shorter waiting time and even more drivers
  • bookings up to 90 days in advance
  • same app in over 150+ cities in Europe

It’s the BEAT heritage—modernized for a smarter future across Europe, and still very much at home in Greece.
