Our safety measures are active before, during and after every ride. From GPS trip tracking to 24/7 support, we’ve built a system that lets you focus on the road while we look out for you. Whether it’s masking your phone number or monitoring for unusual stops, we’ve got you covered.

    All rides are live tracked by GPS and passengers can share their live location with you for smoother pickups. When you’re close, a blue dot on the map shows exactly where they are – perfect for busy stations.

    Your personal life should stay personal. Your real phone number is never shared with passengers, and theirs is never shared with you. All calls and chats are masked to protect your privacy.

    Need to report an incident? Find our Help Bot: home screen > ☰ > Help > Chat with us. If the bot can’t solve it, it will open a ticket with our 24-hour Driver Support team who will follow up with you until it’s resolved.

You are in control of your vehicle. You always have the right to reject a trip or end it early if you ever feel unsafe. Your wellbeing is our priority.

Ratings are a two-way street at Freenow. Both drivers and passengers can rate their trips with each other from 1 to 5 stars.
You can provide details if something goes wrong, or select ‘Block Passenger’ in your earnings page to prevent being matched with that person again.

We hold riders to the same high standards we hold you to. Any rider who violates our community guidelines or compromises your safety faces permanent removal from the Freenow platform.

How we share the ride

Our Learning Centre offers specialised training on topics ranging from in-app safety tools to de-escalation techniques, helping you handle any situation with confidence.
