Passenger Booking Fee

  • A €1.20 booking fee is charged to the passenger for each regular trip with the taxi fleet or Taxi Green and is added to the total trip value.
  • A €2.80 booking fee is charged to the passenger for each prebooked trip with the taxi fleet or Taxi Green and is added to the total trip value.
  • A €3.20 booking fee is charged to the passenger for each trip (regular or prebooked) with Taxi Premium or Taxi Large Trunk and is added to the total trip value.
  • A booking fee of up to €5.65 is charged to the passenger for each trip with Taxi Priority and is added to the total trip value.
  • A €5.00 booking fee is charged to the passenger for each regular trip with Taxi XL or Taxi Green and is added to the total trip value.
  • A €5.65 booking fee is charged to the passenger for each prebooked trip with Taxi XL and is added to the total trip value.

Passenger Service Fee

This charge by Freenow Hellas refers to the provision of vehicle matching (search) services for the Premium Taxi, Large Trunk Taxi, and Airport Taxi fleets.

• For the Premium Taxi and Large Trunk Taxi fleets, the cost is €0.81 and is included in the fare estimate for all regular and prebooked trips.

• For the Airport Taxi fleet, the cost is €1.20 and is included in the fare estimate for all regular rides.

The platform service fee is applied at the end of the trip by Freenow and the passenger receives the respective receipt via email address registered in their Freenow account.

 

Cancellation Fee

The Freenow cancellation fee is charged in the following cases with the respective amounts:

  • A cancellation fee of €3.99 may be charged on any trip when:

a) the passenger cancels their trip at least ten (10) minutes after the driver has accepted the booking request;

(b) the passenger cancels their trip when the driver has already completed the distance of 5 km or more on the way to the pick up point, from the moment they have accepted the booking request;

(c) either the passenger or the driver cancels the trip at a distance of less than 200 meters from the passenger's pickup point; and 5 minutes have passed without the passenger showing up; and the driver has unsuccessfully tried to contact them.

Prebooked trips may be charged a €5 cancellation fee when such trips are canceled within 30 minutes from the agreed pickup time and the driver is on the way.

The cancellation fee is intended to prevent the passenger from misusing the Freenow intermediation service.

If the passenger wishes to object to the cancellation fee, they can do so via the in-app chat, after selecting the 'Cancellation Fee dispute' option.

 

Passenger Booking Fee for Client Travel

  • A booking fee of up to €5.65 is charged to the passenger for each trip and is added to the total trip value by the driver.
  • A booking fee of €5.65 is charged to the passenger for each trip from the port of Piraeus (arrivals) and is added to the total trip value by the driver.

Maximum trip value

  • Maximum trip value for in-app payments (credit/ debit card, Google pay, Apple pay, Paypal): €220.00
  • Maximum cash payable trip value: €499.99

Note: Each trip is paid by the passenger with the selected payment method (either cash or via app). Premium and Large Trunk fleets allow you to ride and pay only with in-app payment. A combination of payment methods is not allowed to pay for a trip.

 

Taxi driver fare policies

  • The company's commission on the gross route value: 15.00% (12.10% + VAT).
  • Tip to driver: The company does not withhold a fee on the tip.
  • Banking fee for in-app trips (credit/ debit card, Google pay, Apple pay, Paypal): €0.00
  • Tolls: The company does not withhold a commission on the value of the tolls.
